Hello, I have set-up a new website www.globalwarmingtimes.com and submitted it to Google Webmaster about a month ago. Yesterday it appeared on the first page of google.co.uk under the key words global warming times. I was very excited, but today it has completely disappeared when I type in these key words and I have been very deflated. Can anybody give me an idea of what is happening? Plenty of possibilities. 1. New sites dances around the results a lot. 2. Sites heavily linked to dance around a lot. 3. Maybe you got google slapped. Too much link building? 4. Who knows really. Your site is too new to give a definite answer.
Just keep publishing good content and build only relevent and/or high authority links. High quality content is most important though.
