contrast based adds, please REVIEW

hi there, I was working hard on the adds this days, and I decided to experiment with colors. what do you think? should I use this contrast technique? or is it better to blend it with the same blue color as the other links?

There's a lot of blue links on that page, so I kind of like the color you have it at now. It doesn't scream "I'M A GOOGLE AD", but it stands out from the other links enough that it doesn't get lost. Keep it like that for a while and see how she does.

I had the same feeling, since blue ads didn't give me any clicks at all.

 

No problem. You might want to try putting some ads inbetween your posts too....in the same orange color. Just a thought.

make the links into blue...normal blue 0000FF...and maybe add a link unit at the top...

I wouldn't use word 'RELATED' above adds, as this misleads users. So it is against TOS.

 

can u elaborate in what sense is it misleading?

 

i see "Related" label above the adsense ads. it may be a problem for you

yep I also improved header, now it displays 4 random photos from my portfolio
