    Hello all,

I would like to put together a contract for a website 4 of us are building together. We want to split everything equally - we're splitting work, etc. I wonder if anyone in here has experience with this?

What I'd like to learn is:

    1. Do I HAVE to have a lawyer to write a simple contract for the 4 of us?

    2. Can I create a contract using some kind of online tool or program?

    3. Are digital signatures OK for the contract? We each live in a different country, (Malaysia, Romainia, USA and Brazil) - so how can I make sure we are all covered?

    Thanks!

    Hey thanks,

That is helpful! Looks like I can create my own contract, but maybe should have a lawyer look it over - need to write up a doc for the coder, and add a change order... OK, that's a start.

hehehe now for HOW to write the contract. Should I jsut pretty much word it myself? Is there any good tools I can use to get a head start on it and just fill in places that need to be filled in?

    Thanks a bunch!

depends on how serious you all are about it. However always best to get these things sorted in the first place as when money is involved its very easy to have disputes and fall out.
