Latest post in my blog, what do you think? :)

You want to make sure that you link to all of your sites on all of your pages. The placement of your links is very important when doing this. There have been studies that you can find on google which show that the best placement of a link is on the left hand side inside of a frame, like a navigation menu. This will look more proper and it will be easy for the user to navigate through. Other techniques such as embedding the links in your text is less successful since this looks less professional and can sometimes be mistaken for an advertisement. You will want to display the links a little bit bigger than your normal text and it is good to make them bolder and a different color so that people will see that it is a link. When linking to your other websites you should put the title of your site or a creative slogan as the link so that the reader will be more likely to click on it. By doing this on every page of your network you will generate extra traffic for all of your pages. Images and banners are also good ways to attract people to your other sites however you will want to make sure that these links and banners are always available so that returning visitors can navigate to your other sites again if they only remember one name of the sites or find it easier to remember one name. This will also let them spread the sites name by word of mouth, someone could tell someone for example "Hey bob, go to big-idea-guy.com and click in the top right corner to go to this awesome directory!" thus generating more traffic.
