The main thing that I cannot stand about adcenter is it never stops loading the page (at least for me). Does this happen to anyone else? Bugs the heck out of me. Also It's slow. Slow to save... slow to load. Annoying. The only good thing about it is the conversion rates.
Same here - it's f<cking very annoying. Takes forever to set-up campaigns. I think Microsoft need better "Developers developers developers developers developers" as it's complete garbage. Pete
Have you tried Adcenter Beta? It takes care of the continuous loading issue and I think looks a lot cleaner. http://beta.adcenter.Microsoft.com Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Just tried that FJ, Thanks for the heads up: It's cleaner, it takes care of the loading issue but it's just as slow. I was always fond of Microsoft until now - how can they get this so very, very wrong? It's awful. I refuse to work with AdCenter any longer if this is how they like to go about things. It's insulting to have to work at a snails pace just because of crap programming/development. Pete
Seems to me like all of the big three online environments have been very slow lately. I guess all we can do is suffer to tell them we are taking our business else ware... So probably suffering.... :-(
I am still having problems with the ajax, even with Adcenter beta. When it seems "stuck" I just keep hitting refresh 4 or 5 times until the page actually loads up again. And the best way to get around their crappy interface is to upload spreadsheets into it but I have found that if I upload ads I need to hit refresh a bunch of times and sometimes login again to upload keywords.
Good tip on AdCenter Beta. The eternal load is now gone, and while I'm still not a huge fan of the interface, it seems improved when compared to the old one.
I agree with Comenius, the UI has a long way to catch up with Yahoo and Google. I think each has there strengths and weaknesses respectively. MSN is my least favorite. However, they have a great customer service/technical support team. Has anyone signed up for their 30 jump start program?
