No duh ian? Contextual linking is one of the best ways to get juice for your niche campaign as it tells Google that the site you're linking from is really promoting your site, in a way. Contextual means that the backlink is embedded in the main content of the article/page. So if you have a blog post, a contextual backlink would be one within the content of the post.
Link in content is the best possible link to get, as we have all been told a million times "content is king" and it is the same even in linking. It is common sense really, by placing a link in an article about or describing the anchor it is going to look a lot more relevant to google and therefore carry more weight. There is however no point in just placing a random word in a post, the article needs to make sense so keep the sentence structure grammatically correct and your on to a winner.
When you get backlinks with in content that is called contextual links.Sidebar links or footer links are low quality links as compare to contextual backlinks. So always we should do try to get backlinks from content. Thanks
