Are contextual link better than blogroll? How do we know if our link is in content or blogroll?

Personally I prefer contextual backlinks, because there is more relevant content around them. Blogroll backlinks on high PR pages are also good for your SEO.

I prefer contextual link building, because Google best method of link building is "Contextual link Building". So pls promote your website by contextual link building.

    Hi

Ya s, contextual links are better than blogroll links. Google gives max priority to contextual back links. So it's better to promote your web site by building contextual back links.

    Contextual Link:
Contextual link means your keyword must want to surrounded by relevant texts in both sides. Needs to be a meaning full one line sentence.

Blogroll links are nothing but a link which is placed in the list of links in the blog. And the contextual link is the link which is placed in the running matter (link with an anchor text in the paragraphs). The contextual links get the more PR juice than the blogroll links (both are useful in SEO).

    Hi,

As per the major search engine algorithms they likes the contextual link of any websites. Most of the webmaster like to build their backlinks through contextual links. It is easy to navigation with other pages of websites and end user friendly. Blog roll links are good, if your links come from High Page rank blog lists. my personal opinion is that i will go with contextual links instead of blogroll links.

    Thanks,

As per my choice, I prefer the "Contextual Links" the most. As because, Contextual links are much relevant and surrounded by the relevant article/post as well. But it depends on the quality of the blog, that is: what is the PR of that blog, how many visitors they are getting per day, having relevant category post or not etc. If the blog fulfills these criteria then of-course blogroll links are good.

contextual links works well but try to add some blog roll links as well linking with in your site, that will give more natural linking.
