Lets say im on a blog website or im a website and I make a 500 word paragraph describing my website for promotional backlink purposes. If i wanted to backlink the 500 word paragraph to another website would I get less link juice in terms of contextual content if google scans this? Or would I need to rewrite the text in a different format and wording?

Your backlink will get "link juice" from the anchor text, which is what the user clicks on and what links to your site, so the 500 word paragraph isn't going to help your link really. it will help with providing content that the search engines will pick up, but your link juice is going to come down to the anchor text and the actual page your link is on, among other things. search engines don't like duplicate content, so you don't want to submit the same exact article or blog post to a thousand different websites. that won't help. unique, original content with specific anchor text is what will help in your situation.
