    Just send nice polite emails to other bloggers or websites detailing what kind of contest you are running and where you will be promoting.

    You can ask around for sponsor at DP and you must give something in return

    I think posting in forums and sending letters to potential sponsors (they have to be small guys though or they will likely not even give you the time of day!) can help. What kind of prizes are you looking for?

    I just sponsored 2 blogs on entrecard, they have sent me an invite to sponsor their contests. You could do the same.

    I want to be your sponsor, just tell me when are you planning to have this contest.
