Contests For Link Development-Ideas Bring It

    I have lots of sites in different areas (niches) and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience in building links, and traffic in contests in this area of marketing.

    Ive done a little research and came up with some sites that I can submit to but I need to know exactly what sites (Bring them on) have brought you the most traffic and what kind of things you gave away.

    I'm thinking about giving away I pods, free domains, cash via PayPal, A years worth of hosting, and so on.

    So who has experience in this area. I would rather spend my time and money on sites and products that will work then just submit to sites and bogs that don't benefit me.

    I do following activities as a process of link building

    Directory Submission - 100
    Article posting - 20
    Classified Ad postng - 50
    Press release - 10
    Company Profile Posting - 10
    Answer Posting (Yahoo, Wiki, ) - 20
    Forum Participation & Posting
    Blog Posting - 2
    Relevent Comment Posting - 20
    Social Bookmarking (digg, delicious, reddit, stumble upon, techohari, diigo) - 10

    Actually link building is not for direct traffic. It's more for improving SERP. That is why some people submit an article to Ezinearticles for traffic, and then spin the article and submit to 900 article directories for backlinks to the main article.

    Yea, I know about link building. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience building hundreds of links and getting good traffic through contests... I'm willing to put up good prizes I just want to make sure it's not wasted so I need lists of places to submit my contests to get the ball rolling.

    So this really doesn't have anything to do with backlinks.

    You're looking for high traffic places to advertise that will bring decent traffic to your website.

    the best for me is Guest blog posting

    there are other ways to such as turning articles int pdfs and softwares and posting to relevent directories

    No it does both. If sites pick up my contest I get traffic and links.

    I have a list of 1000 dofollow blog list and i gave out my list on my blog. (BTW that list is in my signature for 5$)

    You had to give me 1 backlink and then source it in the comment below, then give me your email adress.

    It worked well i got alot of links for free
