Contesting an Infraction

I received a red infraction a few minutes ago for giving away $0.30 to the first 30 posters in a thread in the Freebies forum out of generosity. I asked for nothing in return, and although I did post a link to a Digg story in the thread, I did not ask for anyone to Digg it. Instead, I simply mentioned that I had originally planned to offer the money in return for Diggs, that I was not going to as a result of the new rule, and stated that I was giving the money away as a way of saying thanks to all the things DP has done for me over the years.

My post was as follows before it was deleted:
I am confused about this. In the message I got with my infraction it said the following:
I understand this rule forbids members from operating any sort of Digg exchange or click service. The rule clearly states that members are not allowed to solicit exchanges or services related to social bookmarking sites.

Maybe the moderator who gave me the infraction misunderstood my post. It is possible my post read differently than I intended, but does giving away $0.30 and linking to a Digg story in the post count as an exchange or service? My post violated no part of the new rule. In fact, I even stated in my post that (a) nothing could be done in return to help me and
    (b) I am giving money away (i.e. not buying anything).

Is there way I can get in touch with a moderator or administrator to find out exactly why I received the infraction and what part of the new rule I broke? I would like to know what rules I broke so I won't break them again. I can understand if DP did not want to see posts like mine again in the future, but it is unfair for you guys to impose an infraction on me when no rules were broken.

    Thanks for your time.

By posting the digg link, you're seen as trying to get people to check out your digg article and digg it. Anything digg related is now banned by DP, hence your infraction. AFAIK, its only one point and it expires in 1 or 2 months. Its really nothing, move along.

Just go on with life, infractions will expire, nothing so serious as to launch a thread to contest it. Maybe you will want to PM a mod to discuss. I had also two infractions but just take it in stride be more careful in the future and that's it.
