As a sales letter writer myself, I wouldn't participate in this contest. I'm not bashing your thread, just constructive criticism. For one, even .05 a word is on the extremely low end of the scale for professional sales copy. For two, no professional sales writer is going to participate in a "writing contest", it's too easy for the contest holder to steal our content or ideas. I could write you an awesome sales letter, and then you could take it and there wouldn't be much I could do about it. If you want sales copy that actually turns visitors into buyers, you may want to consider contacting some professional writers, looking at their portfolios, and just hiring one person. You'll get better results that way. IF you're lucky enough to get some entries here, they aren't going to be pro's, your copy will suffer, and your conversions won't be near what they should be. Regardless, it's not my business. I'm just offering advice. If a contest is the way you want to go with it, I wish you the best of luck. Thanks, Scott
Thx You Karen, i missed for that one, moderator now transfer to contest section. thx you scott, i really appreciate it. thats was constructive critism, i learn from this. Nice itrader point, and nice thread in content creation section. i will ask you someday. I think pro and not are not based on the price he charge, i think it is relative. article writing price varies from 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, ... maybe hourly rate as i know. i have been contacted by someone who have price 0.01 and he have groups of writers too (i think he is pro, why he have groups of writer if he don't want as a primary jobs). and he have a good feedback for his jobs. i think itrader is 33 right now. Why i make this contest ? 1. Person who don't know writing sales letter and good at writing article, know there is other field that he can do. 2. If he pro at this field, maybe he can try that he can fulfill my need, i will come to him for another task. Updated: 1. Minimum 10 Participants until closing date, If it doesn't meet, i will cancel this contest. 2. All work will be send directly to my email, so each participant can't steal your content or ideas - thx to scott thx b4.
