Website Template Design Contest $2000 first place prize $500 second place prize 21 third prizes of $25. Rules: 1) The top designer will be awarded $2000 USD by paypal. You must have a paypal account to qualify for this contest. All winnings will be paid via paypal. 2) The second place winner will be awarded $500 USD by paypal. 3) There will be a minimum of 21 third prizes of $25 awarded. If we use your design you will receive at least a $25 prize. 4) Winning entries will be used on the internet. All entrants agree that their entry becomes the property of AnswerAnimal upon submission. Your entry will not be used unless you are paid $25, $500 or $2000 depending on how you place. 5) The contest will run until a minimum of 23 winners are selected, at which time the prizes will be awarded. Ok I don't understand why this has to be a contest. I've been in the business for almost 6 years and clients just see my work and love it thenn they hire me for the project. If you want something very high quality and at it's best then that person has to work very hard and that takes time. If they don't win then they just wasted there time. Most of us do this for a living not just part time. Time is money and money is time. Now if this was for American Idol then a contest like that I could understand..but for a template?...

Contest is open and I expect it will be open for the entire month of March. We are keeping the contest going until all 23 finalist slots have been filled. Then the winners will be chosen.

Screenprints with some sort of protection on it is just fine as an entry we do not need full Photoshop files to judge the entries.
contest is cancelled. we have more email from designers insulted by the $25 third prize than we do have people actually entering the contest. this contest is offficially closed. I will email everyone that entered to let them know it's closed. sorry to anyone who did start an entry.
