Contest to Top Website Referrer

    I'm looking for ways to promote my proxy site and am thinking of giving away a $5 or $10 Amazon gift certificate to the person who refers the most visitors to my website. I would use a link tracking system and create individual links for my contestants to determine who drove in the most traffic.

    What do you think of the idea? Do marketing strategies like this work?

    $5 or $10 is a little money. If it's $5/click, maybe somebody will help you.
