add a comedy section and use your own flash video service until one day you are vimeo and everyone embeds your content. thats why youtube and vimeo are killing it.. because bloggers will always use their embeds instead of making their own.
I would use a watermark over the top of your featured videos then embed them on your site. Allow people to re-embed them on other sites.
