I have 1000$ to promote my website. The contest will have 2 places paid. 1 Place gets 100$ 2 Place gets 65$ I will give you the info of my website and then you will need to research it and advice me what would be the best marketing campaing for it. For instance. You can write in the following manner - " I found a forum where you can place a non rotating banner for 200$ and it has 6000 uniques I think this would be a good place to place your banner. Here is a company which does targeted PPC advertising ...www.site.com - you should place here because it costs 0.05$ per click." So in other words I want to spend $1000 wisely in a month. Note - This is gambling site so a lot of marketing methods might not work. I am looking for solution. The best advices will get rewarded 100$/65$ and will be announced. I want to run this contest for 30 days. I will pay via moneybookers or paypal at the end of the contest.
u can try to advertise with http://www.pokerlistings.com , they provide third party advertising... There are about 3,763,306 players right now!! and it also on the first search list on google for the keyword "poker" (8th result i think) and it also has a PR of 7! Check it out for urself!
I know this website - the thing is I have 1000$ and I want to know what are the best options - giving just the top sites from google list will not be enough. I think professional marketers can find some good solutions for different advertising budgets. I even found 1 poker forum where i can get a non rotating banner for 250$ - 7000 uniques. Ok Im stopping this contest because guys will just post top poker sites/forums without any research. I am looking for a good deals. For instance I found 1 forum with 7000 uniques which offers non rotating banner ad for the whole month in the middle for 300$ Now this is the deal and I would like to get deals like that. So a good investment would be 100$- for 2500+ unique users non rotating banner in a good spot. Most big sites charging too much they charge 500-1000$ for rotating banner ads with 5+ other banners and they have 20-35k unique users.
Not really I will spend more time researching what it needs to be done and where exactly I will need to advertise my website. If guys know what they are doing they can give me this information in 30 minutes. But I will not accep things like in previous post where guy posts that good site is fulltiltpoker and they dont even accept banner ad placements.
I dont think this is really ideal for a contest, especially with no itrader - you cant water mark an idea after all! I would suggest placing this in the general would like to buy section. That way you can view marketeers portfolios and make a decision based on past performance. When chosen individual knows they will get paid (and probably has 50% upfront) then you will get some decent ideas.
I will pay 100% if people can deliver an information to me. But not like some other guy who wrote full tilt poker in his list where it would be a good place to advertise.... Its not a good place to advertise because they do not accept advertisements at all. Also just naming the biggest sites will not work. There is a targeted trafic and I placed a non rotating banner in the middle of the forum for 250$ and this forum has around 7000 unique users per month. So I am getting 2800 Unique users for 100$ Also Im pretty sure there are PPC services for gambling. And other good methods who I can spend 1000$ wisely. But I am not a marketer and I don't know all these sources. But for some serious marketer it would be like 10-15 work to get 100$. Same would go if you would ask me anything about poker and offer 100$ for information it wouldn't be difficult for me to answer it simply because I been doing this for a long time and know 99% all there is to know about poker market.

So another option would be like - you send me information about poker advertisement options I evaluate that information and can pay if it's usefull. I will decide the price tag for that information. What you can expect to earn is 15$-30$ mostly.
I don't think this is as good of a deal as you think it is. 7000 uniques a month in not alot and you will get only a small percentage of the that clickthrough to your site. I know poker keywords are expensive so this may be a good deal either way but you should remember that you will get only of fraction of the 7000 for $250.
Yes I already started to understand that I wasted 250$ I think much better option for marketing would be to create a permanent good quality material which brings organic traffic like writing 25+ articles.
