I encountered a problem whilst running my first contest for a logo here in the forum. A contestant had been using logos and mages found on Google images. With a bit of research I found where they got some of their "inspiration" from. Does anyone have any advice for covering and protecting yourself in these circumstances? Like, how can you be sure the design is actually original and not copied? Any tips or advice?
Usually I'll take a look at the free vector sites and do a general search at Google to see whether there are similar logos in Google Images.
