Sorry, you're probably sick of my suggestions for the contests section, but I've really become quite attached to it and it is the 4th most popular section of the BST so I think it deserves a little more attention than it's getting. Anyway, my suggestion is to have the newly implemented BST features on the contests section. A few people are starting to use the '[WTS]' tag in order to use the 'winner gets' field to show the prizefund, but obviously they're not selling anything so this isn't correct. In the same way that the 'sites' category has a system whereby threads in the list view have their price and auction time remaining right-aligned on the listing, I think contests could have the same. Just having these fields as 'Contest length' and 'Prizefund' would mean that it's far easier to navigate through contest threads as Contest holders are usually quite undescriptive in their titles. This would also mean that contests don't run miles over the time that the CH specifies, and also if the inactive contests could be shaded out in the thread list view in the same way that they do in auctions then it'd be easy to see which contests are active rather than searching through the thread or worse still making a logo only to find out that the contest has ended.
