Content setting for your blog, you can show sidebar top 10 posts included hyperlinks and other you must add the title tag, description tag, and H1 heading, and H2 headings and also when you update wallpaper blog included images hyperlinks with text. I hope this is the better way to update the content with wallpapers.
you can add title/description for each image. also can add a small paragraph on each page at the bottom or top describing the page content.
Why don't you just write a long description for each Wordpress Theme. You would get both content to be indexed by Googlebots and convincing people to download your theme altogether. The more download, the more links you would gain = increase link popularity and SERPs. Simple eh?
