Depends largely on what the purpose of your content is. If it's solely for SEO, you've to make sure you target the right keywords (with high traffic and popularity). If you want to engage your readers and want them to return again and again, the content should be interesting and informative .... a bit of conversational style also helps. If you want to convert visitors to potential buyers, your pitch should be solid. Etc. etc. The inputs here will help you to get a general idea - https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/quality-writing.2711269/. Hope this helps.
In simple words, Content must be to-the-point (there should be no fluff in it), informative, engaging to readers and interesting.
Hi, While developing a blog or article we should always have the perception of target audience, always information must be crisp and clear with right keyword density.
Deliver the content that your audience wants to see. It is hard to answer your question because every site is different, and if you offer news then you need to focus on quantity, meaning shorter articles more frequently (3+ daily). However, if you aren't writing news then you need to have minimum word count guidelines of at least 750 words. Don't focus too much on SEO when writing, just throw in the keywords naturally when needed. I would also like to mention that breaking your articles down with subtitles will make it easier to read, and Google will love you for it. Don't throw the keyword into every h2 or bolded subtitle, but feel free to throw it in one or two if you have a long article.
Don't make the blog or article too short. Include real-life examples and specific facts. Make it informative and not too broad.
It should be unique. This is the most important factor. Also, try to optimize it for best keywords. Also check its length, 800-1000 is pretty great for a blog article!
Keep it on point and the longer the better. Always try to make your articles/blog posts at least 250-300 words in length!
