Hi all, First of all I want to say that I am very glad to find this forum. There are really lots of good information and also many people who likes helping others in this community.Even I am a new member of this forum, I learned a lot by just reading threads and posts about affiliate marketing. I was introduced to affiliate marketing world 4 years ago, with starting a google adwords campaign for vodafone.de. It was very fun and exciting and I made aroun 30Euros with an $50 adword campaign. I didnt make any profit as you see, but those were my university years and my budget was $50 for internet marketingWhen I reached that budget I quit my campaign, also keywods were getting expensive each day Now I would like to also start again with this affialte marketing world and I believe if I can do the right things this time, I can earn some hundreds maybe thousands each month, and it will be an extra income for me. I hope I can manage this with only spending a couple of hours each day on this topic. I also would like to learn your opinion. Do you think is it possible to make this job as part-time and earn some extra cash. I actually dont want to quit my job because I like it Anyways, I think I will not try search engine marketting this time, because it is a little bit expensive for a newbie.I am thinking of starting a blog, or maybe creating a squidoo page to sell some staff. But my very primary problem is the CONTENT.. It is really a f...ing big problem for me, because my English is not that good and I am not sure if I can manage to create some interesting articles about the topics I have no idea. I mean for example in comission junction I got accepted for an affiliate program of a paintball shop, ok now I can start to promote their guns and rifles maybe, but what will I write for the content?I have no idea about paintball guns and other equipments. I thought I can make some search on some paintball forums, but come on, it takes so much time to find out some real information that can be written in a squidoo page and which can attract someone to read it. So what do you suggest for me in order to write a good content about the topics I have no idea and also please keep in mind that my English is not that good.I mean ok I can write some staff, but it takes some time and I can make a lot of grammer mistakes which can let me to loose some possible customers. I wouldnt buy a product which is promoted by someone who even can not describe it correctly. PS: Please dont say "promote some prdouct in you native language" because I think it is not easy to find some affiliate programs in my mother language.. I hope you can give me some ideas about content writing. You can use paintball example for descriptions Thanks a lot..
My suggestion is to go to elance.com and post a job order for articles on those subjects. Yes it'll cost you some dollars, but if that what you need because of the language barrier, that's what you can probably do. Hire some professionals. You can also go to ezinearticles.com to get some ideas on what to write about on that subject (do not copy the articles, please!) write the article yourself and then give it to someone whose native language is English to spell check, for a small fee.
Your writing isn't as poor as you think. You don't have to be eloquent to write good copy for affiliate sales because people want real recommendations from real people. So, if your copy sounds sincere and you focus on communicating benefits and results, you should do fine. Squidoo is a GREAT place to sell affiliate products without paying for domains or webhosting. If you need it, stop by http://www.squidoo.com/crash-course-lens for a free report for Squidoo newbies. Hope this helps
Thanks a lot for your comments. Do you think can I use other peoples reviews about the product in my page, because for paintball example, I have never used a paintball gun or never saw one. You can not review something you never used @icjackson: Which one is better?Promoting a product directly in squidoo or creating a blog about the product and using squidoo to get some traffic to your webpage?
I too think that your English is not dreadful. If you can get a text editor with a good spell-checker, you'll be doing just fine. If you familiarize yourself with this forum, you'll see that around 50% of the guys here "not speak english" Initially, it'll take you more time to write articles but you'll get better as you keep writing. It is probably a good idea to get somebody to help you with content so that you don't have to write everything on your own. However, if you go with 2$/an article writers, keep in mind that they are not English speakers and chances are that their English is worse than yours. No American or Englishman will write for $2 because in these countries two bucks cannot even buy you a cup of coffee. So, yeah, my advice would be - just crack on with writing (use spell-checker) and see if you like it. So, it depends on your budget. Don't worry about the fact that you know nothing about paintball. Read something. Find some info (maybe in your native language... you sound like a European if I'm not mistaken) and just re-tell it onto your own site. Think off-line. Can you go to your local library and pick up some magazines or books about paint-ball? It is better to use your own blog. Gives you more control. Use Ezinearticles and Squidoo as a source of backlinks to your blog.
Yes I am a European I think it is a good idea to write the content myself after making some investigation on the topic. And then maybe I can use some spell checker tools or someone who can review my article. Do you have any idea about spell checker tools or good text editors? You say that I shall use my blog in order to promote my products. Which would be better, to just promote some products and write some reviews about that specific product, or just create a personal blog about paintballs and also try to promote some paintball guns and other equipments. For example is it a good idea also to write some posts about some paintball tactics and maybe some paintball events. What I mean is, shall I use my blog for just promoting the products and for just affiliate marketing or is it also good to give some extra information?I think it is not very attracting if I only review some products through the whole blog right?
Hire a ghostwriter / freelancer to write your articles for you. You can find plenty of them on Craigslist, Elance.com, Guru.com, and other forums. Hope this helps.
