Hey, In my opinion, all you need to do is focus on managing your time better. You write a lot so maybe slow that down a level or twoo to make more time for promoting the stuff you do write. What's the point in writing everything and not having anyone read it? Dedicate more time to promoting the articles you write. You will find that by peoples responses it will better you writing while also boosting your motivation to write. Youvwill enjoy writing more actually having a audience to display your writing too. Just my 2 cents. Thanks again! God bless, William Veasley
The logic of search engine ranking algorithm is that if you have good content, then there will be a lot of people linking to your site (backlink). Therefore, good content comes first. However, even if you have good content and lots of backlink, your site may still not ranking high. The reason is because the keyword you are targeting for your content is either: 1.) too competitive (i.e. more than 50000 search results for exact match of the keyword) 2.) too few search (i.e. less than 1000 searches per month for the exact match) 3.) both of the above. Therefore, careful keyword research is always the first step in creating content. If you have original content for your site, I suggest you submit them to ezinearticles as well. Their backlinks really count.
I can tell you from experience that you need both. Better to cut your content time in half and build at least a few quality back links. Choose quality for both content and links over quantity.
You cannot choose between content and links because they are both very important. To build up your links, you need a lot of high-quality content on your website. While going from one article directory to another, submitting your articles, is one of the best ways to generate links for your main site, you also need to do other things on top of this. Aside from article marketing, blogging, social bookmarking (Digg, Reddit, Delicious, StumbleUpon), social networking (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), blog commenting and forum posting are also great ways to build back links for your site. While all these might sound like a great big chore, they are all essential to generate traffic to your site. Just make sure to come up with a plan or a schedule on how to do all these so you won't be overwhelmed with everything you need to do.
Well i have a question: every one says that content is important. what if a business doesn't have that much to update? For example: a dentist's website?
You need a good time management, that's what I think. Content and backlink are both important, make a to do list or whatever that could schedule your daily tasks for writing contents and build backlinks so you can do both equally effective.
SEO is a combination process of quality content and quality backlinks. So both content and backlinks are important for your website getting high traffic and high page rank.
It's specific for every niche. If you have a tv show website you will have pages with episodes, nothing unique. If you make backlinks you'll be on a better position in Google and you will get more visitors -> money. If you have a tutorial website you need 100% unique content and a good one. Then you can start building backlins. But if you have a nice content with only adding your website to search engines you'll get good amount of visitors.
You should try to do both of them. Just find enough time to create backlinks to your content and thats it. Done
well content will keep your customers on the site but backlinks will get the traffic to your seite in the first place
Hey, Thanks for the response! I'm glad someone agrees with me hehe. ( : I think everyone needs to realize that your content is more important than promoting, because without the content what are you to promote? There won't be any promoting going on lol. Just my 2 cents. God bless, William Veasley
Focus on content first then backlinks one is not better than the other they both play important key roles in success.
Those two are really matter for me in pushing up you site. What is the purpose of contains without backlinks and vice versa..
What kind of article do you have, really? In the end of each article you must be able to call to action. They might not even click on your links if you are not capable to entice them with your article. Better yet, double check your title and make sure that it is catchy and interesting.
