Content question

    for my site http://phreebie.net do links count as content or should i write a descriptions of what the sections mean IE what "freebies" mean

    any sugguestions welcome:)

    I think the more content you write the better it is in long run..Links are just Links and is serves not much when it is outgoing...

    Yes, links are content. That's why you should name your links properly. For example:

    "click here" isn't as good as "Free Baby Stuff" or whatever you're linking to. It also helps to add a little description under the link if possible.

    yea thats true but in my case, i dont think a description is needed
    i just emailed google to make sure though :)

    I suck at SEO, but I would assume that anchor text is typically considered more than regular content by the SE's. If you're linking to other relevent and authoritative sites, it would help confirm to the search engines that you're a credible site. Obviously if you're linking to 'bad neighborhoods' this doesn't apply.

    Anyone else can feel free to correct me here if I'm wrong.
