    Hello everyone,
I am a newbie in online publishing, but I'm not a newbie in webdesign. I want to start a website in my spare time. The revenue from this site should come from adsense. I have been reading a lot on site optimization and ad placement. I want to start by creating a blog hosted on blogspot.com so I wouldn't invest in domain and hosting, just to test things. I will post a few articles on my blog and if things are ok, I will transfer my content on a new site with a domain name and all. My question is: will google think I'm duplicating the blog's content? if yes, how can this affect my website and what can I do to prevent this? should I rewrite my articles, changing a few phrases and paragraph order?

    Thanks.

If the same content has already been posted on a blogger site and then added to another site then yes google will see it as the same content. Whether it affects the new site is another thing as duplicate content isn't just deemed from one page; there are many things that google will look at (site layout, other text on the page, images, the site as a whole etc). But why not save yourself the hassle by creating your own site without using blogger, as hosting can be found for $50 including a domain name for a whole year if not less.

I'm sure you could just email them that you will be switching to your own host and there wouldn't be a problem. People on here talk about emailing google all the time about things so I don't see why this would be a problem.

I agree, skip the blogger part. Just make your site with a good DN. If you don't like it down the road you can sell.
Or remove you blogg content for like 3 months before you build your new site, that might work.
