Content network's "average position" went further low...

(I had another thread regarding this topic but the topic kinda went off on a tangent and I found new things so I made a new thread. Thanks)

After I got slapped I changed my domain and campaign. After that I've been OK and having even much better QS with the same landing page somehow. However, I found that I am not getting enough impressions on the content network.

I initially thought there was something wrong with Adwords but today I found out that my average position (on the content network) is 3.5 -4.0...What's the....It used to be around 1.0-2.0. No wonder the impressions are much lower than before.

The strange thing is I have now much better QS than before and I use the same keywords as before. Therefore I am getting better results in the serch network. I really wonder why my positions are bad in the content network and I really want it fixed cuz my conversion rate is good on the content network too and I need a lot of clicks.

Do you think it is because there is no content network history in the new campaign or something like that? Because in my old campaign, whenever I made an ad group I had a full blast of the content network impressions with the position of 1.0-2.0.

Maybe I can try to make 1 ad group in my old campaign to test about this but I got slapped twice in that campaign so I kinda hasitate.

If you have any ideas, thoughts, advice etc about this that would be really appreciated.

FYI, before I didn't separate the campaign for the content network only but I do now.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what your question is?

It does take time to get new content network campaigns up to full speed...

Hi PPC-Coach, thanks for your reply.

I know it takes some time for the content network to go up to full blast...but with my old campaign, it was always after a couple of hours or 1 day latest that it went to the full blast. I usually got 500-600 clicks a day from the content network within a day when I started a new ad group. Plus, the average position (I use it in Japanese google so maybe the English term is different from my translation but meaning the ranking where your ad is shown on the content site) was between 1.0 - 2.0.

But now, with my new campaign it does not show enough impressions therefore much less clicks.
It has been almost a week. I chacked the "average position" and it is 3.0-4.0 depending on the keyword.

Since with my old campaign, it was almost instant that I got a lot of impressions and clicks, and the average positions were usually 1.0 -2.0, I thought it was something to do the fact that the campain is new. Maybe my old campaign has a good "content network history" and the impressions come much quicker with the better position? That's my hypothesis and my question is if it could be the case, and if so what can I do to this.

I hope it explains more clearly about my question.

    Thanks!

Ah...I tried to use my old campaign, and you know what? My content network impressions are back!!!
(Within a couple hours, as it was always in that campaign)

I really wonder why but maybe this is because of my history in that campaign?
I don't want to use that campaign to be honest because I got slapped twice there. But I need more clicks.

    What do you guys think?
