Anyone notice an extreme, unusual slowness in distribution/impressions today on the Content Network?

Well, I did notice that the campaigns that I just started for my banners were getting very few impressions, just the other day a similar campaign I had up (although it was for more keywords) was getting tens of thousands and then today the ones that had just started seemed to not be getting impressions so I deleted them and started over with some ads with better landing pages (so could be 1-2 days before the google d&ckheads approve my ads). How many impressions were you getting?

AJ- Ive had some recent fluctuations, and no reasonable reason why-Im talking 3-5M impressions/day down to 600-800k..same relative positions, etc..
Only thing I can think of is either a QS issue, although no one has confirmed there is one on the CN..

I'd like to hear if even more people are experiencing this, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I went from 100k per day to 700 (although I paused it for a while since I thought it was a quality score / landing page issue) but its slowed to a f$%king crawl, I just talked with their live help and the person seemed alarmed when he compared it to my past days so he said he is forwarding it to a specialist, I suggest everyone else do the same. This seems to be a legitimate problem. By QS do you mean quality score?

pausing a content campaign is a big no, no...

Also if you experienced a slow over a period of time, your QS may be dropping and your no longer qualifying to be displayed on the previous sites you were showing up for.

I recommend running a PPR report for the days of good traffic and days of bad traffic and see which sites you dropped off from

Ok everyone get this: so it turns out that Google had slowed down my ads intentionally because they needed to do a periodic verification of my account information. So apparently they started this slowdown a couple days ago, I didn't actually hear from them until 9:30pm last night when they called my cell phone and didn't leave a message (I didn't have the phone with me at the time) but they sent me an email saying they needed to get ahold of me (of course no information about why) so finally today they get ahold of me ask what kind of site I have, verify my address and credit card and then said it will now go back to normal impressions with my ads.

I just find this weird that they don't bother to email you first or give any indication of whats going on, they call and don't leave a message, at 9:30 at night (and I'm in California, the same place Google is based). What a terrible way to do business, I had actually opened a couple accounts with other ad services just because of this and not knowing why my ads were slowing, well for now its back to adwords since it is the best, but don't they realize some day they are going to have some legitimate competition (yahoo ads maybe?) and a lot of people may jump over to a comparable network at the first opportunity.

Also, I had been basically hounding their live support team the last few days because they kept saying they didn't know what was going on and would get back to me via email. I think that the call I got was in response to this, so who knows how long it might have been before they got around to calling me otherwise, I suggest if your ads really do start slowing down just keep talking with their live support and if they don't see a reason why its slowing down they will get it through to a specialist so you can resolve the problem within 3-4 days (a "Google business day")

Yup it happened to me on the 18th. My content impressions had totally stopped on that day and I thought I was slapped for good. But then the traffic started to flow again about 12 hours later.

Like usual, talking to Google rep was completely a waste of time.
