I'm just curious does bidding higher make your ad appear more across the content network? I mean what the key here do I just need to create more keywords or obtain a higher CTR? What will make my ads appear more across the c network?
CTR and bids. Demonstrate to G' that your ad will make them more $$$ than the others ads in the pool (via high CTR, high bid or combination) and they'll show it more. Yield management 101
That's what I was wondering because a relative of mine is promoting the same offer, but their getting TWICE AS MANY CLICKS through the c-network. If I'm right their clicks start off slowly then increased as time went by. When he first launched his campaign i don't think he was getting as many clicks at first, but as time went by his clicks started to increase through different sites. Also if you don't mind me asking where does it say that Google will show your ads more often through the c-network if you have higher ctr?
I don't know that they do say it anywhere, but, it's a fact regardless. Google's goal is to maximize the ad revenue from every single ad impression generated. Other ad serving platforms do the same thing, just a on smaller scale.
True I'm not saying I don't believe you, but it does make sense. And from my experience that seems to be what's happening. Let me ask you this say there is 3 ad spots on a site. 2 ads at the top, 5 vertically on the right, then 5 more vertically going down at the bottom. What makes the ads show at the top and on the right? Instead of all the way down at the bottom where no one looks?
