I'm just curious does Google trigger ads on the content network from the relevancy of the ads or the keywords? What does it take into account the keywords, adverts, or both?

The keywords or placements... now they are integrated.

For content network you manage it on the AdGroup level. So your AdGroups might look quite different than your search campaign.

That's what I was thinking, so your saying the Ad Copy has nothing to do with the placement? I was reading on the Google Blog that the contextual targeting is done ad the ad group level?

What ever that means. We have the content network making us around $100-$300 dollars a day in one market.

The ad text has an effect as well. Just try split testing two ads with one word different. If it is an "important" word it can dramatically increase or decrease impressions.
