Content Network Only Slap?

Has anyone else heard of a content network only Google slap? Was running a great content network campaign (i run seperate content and search campaigns). Tons of impressions, clicks, sales, etc.

Just the other day I woke up, to zero impressions. I thought it must be a glitch as my search campaign was fine.

I contacted Adwords support and they said my site was ineligible to run on the content network. This was a domain i had been running ads on for 6 months, not exactly a new domain.

Has anyone ever heard of a content network only slap? ( I assume I got google slapped)

 

Yeah, Google is in the middle of a major content network slapfest.

 

and also search network.

All of my QS s are set to 1/10. I thought I was starting to understand Adwords

 

They certainly are making it difficult to advertise and be their customer.

 

I know their customers are actually the searchers, which I agree with. However, I always thought that the content network was a little easier on to advertise than search because of lack of quality score concerns.

I wasn't having any QS problems on content. They just shut me off one day.

Yep, I've been nailed as well on the Content Network. Had a couple campaigns making $500 a week and as Kurt said, I just got everything shut off in 1 day. Went from 1,000,000 impressions a day to 0.

I've been able to get some volume since this happened a couple months ago, but nothing like I used to get.
