Content network only...get away from Slapping?

I read somewhere that if you don't use "Search" network and only use the content then you don't get slapped. Is that true? (I have been slapped twice btw.)

I have a good conversion rate through the content network so I'm thinking about using only the content, if that's the case rather than risking being slapped again.

Also, when I got slapped before not only the serch but content stopped.
    (in the same campaign)

If I turn off the serach network then should everything be OK? I mean, other than using a "placement" campaign.

Now actually I'm doing so and I can't check the QS of keywords btw after I turned off the Search.

    Thanks!

Content will not get slapped, but it will get turned off if performance is low

    Hi,

how do you judge your performance is good on content?
I think there is a lot of info about serch network here on dp, however I can't find a lot when it comes to content. Is it all about CTR on content? And what CTR is good?

    Thanks!

Robert is pretty much right. I guess it depends on whether you consider it a slap or not but if your content network performance is too low the traffic just stops.
