Well i recently launched a new campaign using adwords and after around 10 hours i checked back. In total i had 109 clicks, 32 of these had came as a result of my highly targeted key words which people had looked up on the search network. But the other 77 had came from the content network which i then saw had 230,000 impressions compared to the 2076 impressions on the search network. My question is: what exactly is the content network and how targeted are the people who will be able to view my ads via it.
The content network is a bunch of sites that run Google adverts (see the top right corner of this page, and you'll see an example). It has a lot of advantages and disadvantages, compared to the search network - in general, clicks are cheaper, but are less likely to convert. Don't worry about the clickthrough rate - that's normal, and won't affect your search network campaign at all... There's a lot of pages about it on Google's Help System - try this to start: https://adwords.google.com/support/...&query=content+network&topic=&type=f&onClick=
