We recently activated Content Network advertising on AdWords. The first couple of days, we were getting around 350.000 impressions per day from Content Network ads, but in a matter of four days this number has plummeted to around 5.000 impressions per day. Does anyone know why the number of impressions has decreased this much? Any way to increase it? Our budget is not a factor, we aren't even close to our maximum daily budget. The campaign in question is using the "Conversion Optimizer, maximum CPA" bidding option if this matters...
Normally, On the first start, your ad will shown into similiar keywords of google, like if you kept earn money, your ad will show for any of the two word like earn or money, your ad will show. Later your ad will be shown to specific keyword only. So try to increase keywords for your ad. So May be you will get more impressions.
The Adwords system needs data to figure out your ad quality. To get this data fast, it will give you more impressions in the first day or two of a content network campaign. Then, your exposure falls to a normal level as dictated by your quality.
