Content Network CTR effects search CPC?

If I have a google ad group that has about a 4% CTR on search terms and a 0.5% on the content network, does the low CTR on the content network mean I am paying more per click on the search network?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

no, they are completely separated. read the small letters on the bottom of any of your adgroups - there are a message stating this.

A low CTR on the content network will not lower your quality score. Only keywords running on search network will affect your quality score.

NO. What happens generally , google optimises your ads for minimum cost. and generaly content network gives you cheap traffic. and you think search network is expensive. But keep in mind that search network sends you quality traffic.
