Do any of you adword users chose to display your ads on googles content Networks?

(that is letting your ads appear on news sites, blogs, other popular sites- ASWELL as on the google search?)

I had this setting, but found some traffic from clicks came from crap scrapper content sites? (which were from countries in Asia....when i selected Just USA, canada)... - Can you explain that.

What happened there? Why are my ads getting displayed on poor sites? Can you explain that.

so do you use content network sites to display your ads? or Just on the Google search?

Yes, I have used Google content network (Automatic placements). Your ads may display on poor sites because of its contextual targeting. To avoid to display at low quality site, you can set exclusion placement or target the placement manually.

Content network usually isn't for the majority of advertisers. It basically allows you to advertise on websites that have adsense, generally returning poor results. However, Adwords has a feature which allows you search through a list of websites that have adsense ads and select those which are relevant to your website.

I personally love the content network & utilize it heavily for some of my sites. Its a great source for major impressions & CHEAP clicks. CTR is lower for sure, but that goes with the territory. All about writing great ads (AD engagement.)

You should pretty much always turn the content network off, and create a separate campaign for the content network - it is two entirely different mediums.
