Hi, I am wondering which will be better? Content marketing or video marketing? I know both are free traffic from Google. But which do you think have a better chance for ranking higher in Google?
Why not to both? If you had to choose one - it would be video marketing because Google loves videos. However, you should be doing both: Write a unique piece of content (750-1000 words) yourself or get someone else to write it (via freelancer.com or iwriter.com) Now convert that article into a PowerPoint Presentation & make a video out of it. Narrate the video yourself or hire a professional to do it. Az
Content Marketing is best for google at the same time video marketing is best for viewers, about the product
I thought Google was cracking down on bogus video rankings. It used to be so easy: just get a hot viral video and boom - you're on the first page of Google. It's not the case anymore.
content is the best way of marketing and affiliate marketing for google yahoo, bing and all user but video faculty is not available to everyone for video watching.
Good points here. Agreed. Video is more effective in ranking now that Google owns You Tube. However, even that has slowed a bit. Point well taken, in that authentic content in conjunction with video to support your campaign is most effective. Comparing notes is good business. Thanks, Everyone.
Google prefers video so its better for ranking. You can also create useful videos. Video creates trust with your audience much faster than writing. They can see your body language, hear you its a different level than just writing. These days video is something every marketer should consider. With that said I wouldn't cancel the written word all at once. Many times i have things to pass to my audience, and I wanna write it instead of making video.
The answer is really simple, Whatever you are best at. Some people are great writers and can post articles daily others are great at video production and can make fantastic videos and have them uploaded to youtube and other various video sharing sites in a few hours. Both forms of content presentation can be extremely profitable and there are people on both sides that are equally profitable. So pick whatever will work best for you and stick with it al
I think it is good to alternate between content and video to make it interesting yet informative for your readers.
Guessing you mean written content vs video? Anyway, video is undoubtedly an amazing medium which can be used to drive user engagement and a has potential for high ROI but at the end of the day you really need both written and video content available to help elevate your brand. I typically rank for more long tail keywords with a well-written article that includes some type of visual component in Google as opposed to just using a video.
