Why do we need Content management systems for a website? What are the benefits of having a website developed with content management systems.

The main benefit is that the administrator (owner) has the posibility to make changes of the website content - add/remove posts, pages, comments and so on, and so on, without any programmers skills, knowledge and instruments.

Precisely because you want things to be under control, that's why. It's your site/blog and so you should be able to learn how to "manage" it, from the platform, down to it's content and up to building traffic for your site. It's a big workload to do but if you love it, then it's not a problem.

It's much easier to manage things, no need to get into the code stuff every time, you can easily add, edit & remove stuff from one single panel.

It's quicker and easier to do.  Otherwise, you would need skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, MySQL and would need hours or days to put it up.  Now you can use a CMS to make life so much simpler.

Because a content management system means you don't have to go editing code every time you make a change to the content on the website!
No Content Management System = editing core files each and every time.
I'd imagine that no content management system means no content stored in a database either, unless code was included on each and every page to update the database.

Basically it looks professional and you don't even have to touch the code. It saves you from all the trouble of having to write code as much as they did.

Simplicity and professional look without having to spend much time or money on it. Plus, the open source platforms have so many programs developed that enhance functionality either for free or a very low cost. I use wordpress and the added benefit is the ease to SEO the site and pages
