Does the Content Management System your using affects your SEO? (joomla, mambo, phpWCMS, etc..) What's your experience?
CMS can actually help your SEO if you use plug ins for joomla and mambo that relate the page title and URL to the content take a look at this page on my site: http://www.nitrostics.com/contact/ Usually it would have some dynamic sort of code there (which Google can still index) but you will get a lower SERP ranking. If you need this for one of your CMS then PM me.
Yes it does, like night and day!!! Trust me on this one. My ultimate favorite Drupal (crowd boos loudly!), I like WP, but have had memory issues with PHP 5 and slow loading pages. I also, believe it or not, have found much interest in SNEWS. Too easy to use for a quick site and has "moderatly" good seo for the new CMS user. The most common favorite, for the record, is WP with the add-ons. (All-in-one-seo, etc). Dont discount some of the other not so well known CMS's, ModX is pretty decent too. If you however want the ultimate "on-page" seo, nothing beats raw html! The guitar site in my sig is a ModX trial I did to see how well it is seo wise. Only been up for about 2 - 3 months. I bought the domain, because I thought it was a bargain at $9.00, and instead of parking it, I thought I'd throw up a quick site to test ModX.
