    Hi there,

I want to publish a website of about 100 pages. I want to know that regarding SEO, which is a better option.

    1. Content Management Script/System (Drupal, Joomla)
    2. Simple Static HTML Website.

Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

    Regards

In my experience a static site is by far the best as you can make each page exactly how you want it with no template/content restrictions.
However, some things (like wordpress) have social bookmarking...rss etc etc which can prove to be pretty handy for a certain type of content.

Wordpress is pretty good as a CMS as far as SEO is concerned. That, and the All-in-one SEO pack plugin would probably suit your needs.
