Content issue

    Hi all and admin,

    Pls. apologies if I have chosen the wrong forum to my post my content issue query.

    Actually one of my friend started a website long back but could not get SE ranking as well as pagerank. But in recent PR update, his site got PR1. But still his targeted Keywords not in 100. I checked the websites found many of the pages having more 50% duplicate. So I asked him to change the content and other factors like page titles, meta keywords & descriptions.

    But the issue is if he replace or change the content for all the pages, Will there be any problem in terms of Search Engine?

    I shall be grateful for any help.

    There may be. Its hard to say and it will depend on many factors.

    I think you should replace the duplicate content with new one and go on posting new content which are original. Because it is good to loss a PR of #1 of your website rather than get penalized or fall in copyright issue, in case.

    if ur site is not in top 100 as per ur keywords so there is no meaning of any PR.bcoz visitors only comes when u get good rank in SERPS.for copy content try to rewrite ur content.because content writing is just write a single story but different way.
