Content is not King In SEO

Hello to all the SEO experts. I would like to know how do we go about optimizing e-commerce and business websites for SEO. As all we believe that updating with content is very important to climb through the SEO ranks....how do u justice this step for the e-commerce websites.

lets take a situation...suppose i have a e-comm site and i have updated all my products in my catalog n theres nothin left to update...then how do i go about updating my site for SEO..plz do explain this for the business website like http://winnow-analytics.com

start optimizing your shopping cart.....also consider google product feed!!!!!

 

Ditto Get Adwords or something.

 

SEO can not replace old-model marketing like outline marketing , branding , mouth to mouth etc.

 

God...Isn't the simplest answer being client reviews, if you are only scratching your head for content?

 

I am also thinking you must go for PPC and ads and you should take help of Google Base..

 

I am thinking do good seo, get good links so you can be brand....

 

A unique keyword rich Content is really important for rankings! Links and othe Offpage stuffs comes later on the stage!

 

First you need to identify your competitors.

Since you mentioned e-comm site as an example, it is better if you take the time to visit your competitors and find out what they do, and what bring them more sales, (what keywords they use, how many times, or whatever).

I bet you'll find a weakness on their page, probably they don't use any h1 tags or something. You'll be surprise to see that.

And once you find the weakness on their sites, you can do proper SEO techniques to beat them!
