In the last day or so I've read a couple threads here about selling 'millions' of 'unique visitors' for under a hundred dollars. How valuable is that traffic, though?

No value. Artificial traffic = zero

The Queen (community) breeds good traffic eventually - word of mouth recommendations, etc.

The quality is as (if not *more*) important than the quantity of traffic.

Exactly. And poor quality (artificial) traffic kills your time (monitoring, bandwidth etc).

good thread. Absolutely nothing to replace content, with community and communication you become slightly less dependant on the search engines.

    Here's how I see it.

    Content is King
    Keyword is Queen
    Community is Jack
And Email List is the Ace!!
