Hello dear users or DP. Very very nice site and thankyou for the great info you have posted here. I was prompted to register when I couldn't clearly find an answer to the above discrepancy in google TOS. If anyone has some real experience and has (a) been allowed to run thier site or (b) had their adsense account closed - tell us the answer answer please share.

Pages or Sites - Which one cannot contain adsense ads? I believe it's very sloppy work by the editor in charge of the documentation, as it's one of the first points every new adsense member are likely to come across.

I am sorry I did not have this experience but I was happy that you reminded me of this instance. Since I am new it is nice to understand this principle and I appreciate having it bought to my attention.

My understanding is that it means exactly what it says - you aren't allowed to place Adsense on SITES that contain any of the forbidden content, even if you place the ads on a different PAGE.

See, for example, this post at Jensense about people getting their accounts in trouble for that reason:

Nonny that article is good. It says
That's the info I was looking for. The description supplied by google is worded totally wrong but that article makes it nice and clear.
