Is it a common practice to exchange high quality content for links on related websites? PLease share any websites that can be of help for this task. Thank you!
Sorry it is not a common practice. I think you need to search in Google to know more about it. There must have been a company or website who offer this service.
It depends whether you mean that you are providing an article with a couple of links into it or whether you mean that you would give a 2000 word article in exchange for a link from the homepage etc? You're wrong there Eric, i myself offer football news articles to other sites that contain at least one link back to my site and it has become something that i do on a regular basis with a number of members of these forums.
It is common place. A lot of blogs will accept high quality guest posts and in return you get a link or two to your website. Some may openly ask for guest bloggers, others may not, but would still be open to the idea. Don't be afraid to drop an email to a related blog asking them if they'd like to take you up on your offer. Many webmasters would be glad of the free, unique content.
As mentioned by banjaminp above, you'll need to provide a blog or website with some content first and in exchange they'll usually allow you to include some kind of link. The link may be a simple URL or it could be anchor text. However, you'll need to make sure you provide some GOOD content if you want to get quality links using this method. People usually don't just go giving away space on their website, a good one anyway, for free. So you'll need to cough up some kind of content that appeals to their readers, is unique and GOOD.
Hi, Hubpages squido Blogger Wordpress Thses are the high quality & authority sites which helps to get maximum exposure to your website!
You can make any exchanges with another blogger, including content exchange. Don't worry about common or not common, it is ok as long as your article is unique.
I've seen some people often creating almost a blog network by exchanging links for content. At times they even enter into the business of selling these links to other third-party webmasters.
I believe that you should point out that comments like this will cause issues for those webmasters who buy those links as buying links is against the rules in the eyes of search engines... It is done but be very careful if you make this choice...
Pressing 'Analyze content for links' button brings me to this page: ... Same result using the 'Clear link data and analyze content for links' button.
