hi there seems to be some discussion on links that are embedded within the content of an article appearing to be more natural and therefore more favourable to the search engines if a website that is PR5 has some terms that are in google uk say on pages 3 & 4, is able to acquire embedded links from a perfectly themed site that is PR7what could be the possible outcome be? **to be clear - the links from the PR7 site are NOT bought, but are embedded within articles. the PR7 site is not a directory nor is it an article directory. its just a themed site with PR7** thanks
I believe that pr7 applies to the home page only. Unless your article appears as featured on that homepage, it's most likely that your links will be on a page with zero or yet unassigned pr. In my opinion the main effect comes not from the pr of a page, but from its theme. So if it is perfectly themed, the results should be great.
depending on how many outgoing links are on the PR7 page (are you getting the link from a PR7 page or from a low PR internal page?) , you might get a good PR boost. so seeing yourself at PR6 on next update is not impossible since you already are at PR5. also, your SERP should go up at the same time if it is a one way content link from a high PR site.
