Content Duplication Penalty ?

Hello Friends,

I am working on one site which have diffrent-diffrent pages with same content for on each page..

This site is doing good in yahoo and msn . But not doing good in google. Now i have removed content and implemented fresh content on each page.

can any one suggest me that in how many days this pages will show in serps with good rank.

Is google applied any penalty on this pages ..? Previous year this duplicate pages are also in good rank but after March-2008 site rank is going down for keywords that have duplicate content.

Help needed....

 

Have you tried to change the content to become more unique. Unique content helps a lot in SERPS.

 

try linking to the pages that you have updated, still google will take time to rank them.

 

If you have add unique content to each page then you should create xml site map and submit it to google so that pages will get indexed soon and might be appeared in serp.

 

It's not a penalty it's a filter.

 

what is google filter? how to avoid this?

 

in short, it will take months for your pages to gain importance within google, and only if they have relevant content.

there is no quick fix for SEO, its a long drawn out process and people just need to realise that there is more to it than masses of poor pages.

 

i think google will filter those pages. the pages will have poor serp
