On the front page of my www.worldoftheweird.com site the adsense ads have been the same from when I launched it last week even though there is new and completly different content on the front page...anyone know why this is?

Also another one of my sites has the same article on the front page and in a catagory page..the front page has had the google search box you get when it can't find relevant content and in the catagory it's fine??

The AdSense spider has to revisit it for the ads to change. The only way around that is to rename the page.

A better solution is to use the sandbox tool here at DP to see what they will be once they change.

    Thanks..

I assume that everytime the spider spiders the site and finds different content It will "learn" to vist regularly

This remains one of my most mind-boggling things... Every time people talk about issues like this I don't know how to relate. I can change a page and the media partner bot is there within minutes. New ads shortly thereafter. I love it, but I would trade it for better regular googlebot visits.

If I knew why I got the response I did from the adsense bots I would share it but I don't know why it is.

I think it has more to do with traffic. The more times the ads are requested, the more often the bot visits.

I can change the title and see new ads instantaneously.

    Hold that thought....

I used to be in the same boat. Then the MB stopped visiting so frequently and then it was more static ads.

Using the AdSense Sandbox tool Digital Point provides gives me nice ads for my website, PS3Blog.net. However, when I actually enable the AdSense ads, I get cycling/hosting/blog/charity ads. This is relatively new behaviour and is really annoying. Any ideas?
