Content Block Tutorial by Gmarvz

    Title: simple content block
    requiremnts: adobe photoshop 7.0+
    Author: Gmarvz


    1. create a new document:
    -file>>new and set the ff:

    -width: 350px
    -height: 250px
    -resolution: 72
    -color mode: RGB color,8 bit
    -bacground contents: transparent

    2. rename the first layer to "main"

    3. set the foreground color to: #155a9a (you can choose your own color)

    4. using rounded rectangle tool, make a rectangle like the one below:

    5. set layer style:

    layer>>layer style and set the following:

    •gradient overlay:

    -angle: 90

    set the gradient colors:

    Output:

    [​IMG]

    6. create new layer and name it "content"

    7. using rounded rectangle tool, make a rectangle inside the first rectangle like the one below:

    Set layer style:

    layer>>layer style and set the following:

    •Inner Shadow:

    -angle: 100
    -distance: 1px
    -size: 1px

    •Bevel and Emboss:

    -direction: down
    -size: 1px
    -angle: 100

    •Gradient overlay:

    -angle: 90

    set the gradient colors:

    8. add text and other stuffs and your done! you can also use your own color.
