Content being Copied from my Blog

    Hello,

    I have a Blog and Today when I was doing a search via Copyscape. I found some of my articles are copied in Wordpress/Blogspot Sites. They even copied the images I mean the images are hosted in my site and when I saw the image url it was actually my website url. I am not really sure what to do ? Can anyone help me ? Kindly guide me on How I proceed with it. Its surely getting me a bad rank in Google. Kindly Help.

    You can't really stop people from copying your content, which is why you'll need to establish authorship so that Google can identify you as the owner of the article; everything else just a copied content.

    If the content was copied exactly, you can seek redress simply by sending a DMCA notice to the websites and their hosts. The offending content should then be taken down. You can also send a DMCA notice to Google who will punish the offending users in their rankings. There are plenty of DMCA posts in this section for you to get more info on how to proceed.
