Content Ads around custom search?

    Ok; here's my position.

    I have integrated a custom search into the sidebar of a site I'm constructing. It has a CMS system I've used as the form action & result page for the custom search, so they're displayed within my site, style-inclusive.

    But in my header and footer I have leaderboards... Which will inevitably show on the results page (unless I make exclusions;- 'tis why I'm asking.)..

    So obviously my question is, can I have other ads AROUND the results area, for example, above and below...? Because this is effectively what happens when the results are loaded..
