Hey guys , my webmaster by accident put 8 of my articles on the wrong site and that site is probably indexed. Do you think if i take the articles off and put them back on the right site will i get a duplicate content penalty by google?

Not if you take them off. Make sure to put a 301 redirect on the previous site so you may not lose any traffic.

Are you sure about this? Because once a webpage is indexed, it will take a lot longer time before SEs will be able to de-index or re-index it. Also, if he will put that content there is a great chance that SEs will be able to index in while the original url of the articles are still cached.

I think the content has been in for a while, so i will probably have the article rewritten or put new articles in. This is stressfull lol.
Are u saying it will take a while for the site to be reindexed again with the new content?

I've moved articles from one of my sites to another plenty in the past. The 301 redirect method works just fine, and I've never had a problem getting the articles indexed on the new domain / site... it just might take a week or two for it to all process.
